The KW Youth Climate Council is a City of Kitchener Youth Climate Action Fund - funded project which aims to give young people more opportunities to get involved with climate action initiatives, earn volunteer hours, develop new skills and meet new people! We initially started by organizing community clean ups and then turned the waste into a series of sculptures which was displayed in Market Square Downtown Kitchener and at the Kitchener Waterloo Art Gallery as part of the Expressions 50: Foresight Exhibition.
